There are those who have asked how they can support Cyberlight Comics. The truth is, the Lord has provided everything that we need to do what we are called to do. However, the artists and writers of Cyberlight Comics believe very strongly in giving. After all, it is the very defination of love!
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasiting life." John 3:16 (Paraphrased)
God showed us the ultimate expression of Love by giving His Son for us. So, every week, the Cyberlight team members show their love for everyone by giving comics freely to the community!! However, there are many people, including children, who need help. Below are some great minstiries that are in the busienss of spreading Christ's love to those in need. If you feel moved to give because of what you have read here on Cyberlight, we encourage you to consider showing love to God's children by giving to one of these organizations!
Sponser: David Weiss, writer/artist of Weird World of Weiss Two
Cents: My wife and I have been sponsoring children through
Compassion International for a number of years now. It always amazes me
how much they can do with $32 a month. They meet all a child's physical,
educational and spiritual needs for a month for less than I spend on a
tank of gas. You also receive letters and progress reports from your sponsored
child. This is a great charity that fulfills Jesus' admonition that whatever
you have done for the least of these my brothers, you have done for me.
If you have been blessed by the free comics in the Weird World of Weiss,
please consider sponsoring a child through Compassion. http://www.compassion.com.
If you do sponsor a child, email me your child's photo at angelprty1@aol.com
and I will send you a signed, original black and white cartoon. |
Sponser: JCServant, artist of Wildlight. Two
Cents: We love giving to the Salvation Army. There's so
much to say about them! First, they are international. Wherever there's
a need you will undoubtedly find a salvation army setup somewhere close,
no matter where that need is. Second, they're local. They work right here
in our town, reaching out to those who are hurting. Third, and most important,
they're a Christian organization with a heart of God's children. "The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination." (From the Salvation Army Mission Statement). Need
I say more? If the work we have done on Wildlight has been a blessing
to you, please consider supporting the Salvation Army. If you donate $25
or more, email us a
copy of your receipt, and you mailing address, and we'll send you a photo
quality print out of the above motivational wallpaper! |
