Salutations!

It's been a while since I've been able to get a Wildlight comic up. Between my job as an accounting manager of a hotel, college and being a husband, I barely have time to breathe. My hat goes off to those that manage to do all of the above AND be a parent. Having a kid, IMHO, is the ultimate plunge into the sea of responsibility. It is one that my wife and I are, quite frankly, too afraid to take. I guess we lack faith in that area.

In this webisode, Tammy holds on to her faith, even when Stan pulls a knife on her. I've actually had someone do just that to me. On one hand, I was trying to hold on to my faith in God. On the other hand, I was so afraid for my life, I almost pee'd in my pants. Thankfully, the guy did not stab me. He was drugged up pretty good, however, so I certainly think it was possible. Was God protecting me? On one hand, I know that all things work for the good of those who love Him. On the other hand, I am mature enough to realize that what I think is good for me, and what God knows is good for me, is two different things. I also know that sin is a selfish action that invariably hurts another person. Sometimes that pain is physical, emotional or spiritual. And, since sin is rampant, pain, hurt and even death happens every minute. For all I knew it could have been my time to be on the receiving end.

At any rate, I'm just as glad it wasn't! Now I can draw lots of Wildlight comics :)

Life is full of surprises. Tammy's had quite a few in the last few story acts. But, don't worry, we've get the best ones yet to come!

Oh, and before I forget, I hope to see a few of you at the Orlando MegaCon this year. It's only a dozen days away! I'll be at the table most of the time each of the three day. I look like my self portrait (above) except I have a beard now. I'll be giving away pictures and other goodies. So, come by, tell me you read this blog all the way down here! The first dozen or so people to do so will get a goodie from me :) I love giving things away!

Until next time, take care.
By His Grace,
JCServant
